AAHAR is a volunteer based organization that works to collect surplus food from college messes to serve the less fortunate people. Contribute your bit in resolving a crisis that has 200 million Indians in it’s grip.

Process of AAHAR

Food is saved

Surplus food is collected after lunch (Around 200 kgs of unutilised food is wasted daily in the institute messes)

Food is transported using E-rickshaws (More than 100 drives have been conducted since August 2017)

filled 6000 empty stomachs. As this drive is entirely volunteer based it faces a lot of financial difficulties.

Aahar is inspired from the Robinhood Army which is an international organisation aimed at serving the poor and needy through waste food distribution. It has various chapters across the globe catering to the needs of poor.
