The biggest factor that challenges the sustainability of our campaign is the logistics. The nearest slums, in which we operate, are situated at a radius of more than 4 kilometers from the campus. The food is transported through E-Rickshaws and each drive costs around ₹ 200-250.

Roughly speaking, the cost of feeding one person turns out to be one rupee. Hence every penny of donation to AAHAR eventually fills the aching stomach of a person who is otherwise deprived of even one full meal.
